Metta Tay Siew Wei

Founder, BloomingTao Coaching and Training
Transition & Retirement Coach(PCC)
Mental Wellness Coach
Certified Genos Emotional Intelligence Practitioner

Metta Tay creates spaces for individuals and organisations to pause, return, reflect and reconnect with what matters most.

With more than two decades of experience in education, Metta has seen how easily people can become caught up in the demands of work, responsibilities and expectations. Her own journey through different seasons of life led her to a deeper realisation: meaningful growth does not always come from doing more or moving faster. Sometimes, it begins with the courage to pause and listen to oneself.

This belief became the foundation of BloomingTao.

Metta brings together coaching, reflective practices, emotional intelligence and Eastern wisdom to support people through moments of change, transition and self-discovery. Her work is grounded in three qualities: compassion, curiosity and courage.

Metta creates a safe and reflective space for them to explore the questions that matter:

Through reflection circles, workshops, coaching and thoughtfully designed experiences involving practices such as tea, flowers, nature and creative reflection, she invites people to slow down enough to hear what may otherwise be lost in the noise of everyday life.

The Meaning Behind BloomingTao

For Metta, blooming is not a destination. It is an ongoing process.

Just as every flower has its own season, people move through seasons of growth, uncertainty, letting go and beginning again. There is no single timeline or prescribed way to bloom.

This belief is reflected in the name BloomingTao.

Tao speaks of the path, the journey we each walk. The character 到 also evokes the idea of arriving.

Together, they reflect a simple idea that is central to Metta's work: the journey is not only about reaching somewhere else. It is also about learning to arrive more fully at where we are.
